Yes, I like to think so. The trigger pull is not acceptable. So, I'll have to get a good trigger or else accuracy will suffer. I like this one:
http://www.americantrigger.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=17&Itemid=58 I am looking for finely made upper receiver, 20 in. fluted barrel and recoil-reducing compensator chambered in 7.62. I can probably find a complete upper somewhere that will do nicely and I might just have a new rifle done before Christmas. I am not afraid to assemble the entire upper from parts scrounged up all over the place.
I can use help finding the right sources (Ethron) to find top-shelf components. I got a lot of help here in selection of a stock, thanks everyone. But, it gets confusing with all the different manufacturers of components, some of which are interchangeable, and some not. I went with a
DPMS lower because the magazines are easier to come by and possibly more parts availability.
