New grip and trigger gaurd.....videos

Well my brothers and visitors here are a couple of my latest videos...I had a request for the one on the grip so I figured I would throw in the trigger guard as well...hope you like.

In the last video...if you bust one of those little ears off just get the Magpul MIAD full grip kit. It bypasses using any screws in the rear ears of the trigger housing. And it gives you the enhanced trigger guard integrated into the pistol grip. And so you don't destroy any of the roll pins in any of your firearms...get on Midwayusa and get a set of Lyman roll pin punches, they are well worth the money. and for projects like this get the standard vice blocks and Craftsman makes a drill press vice that rotates to 90 degrees, very handy as well with no need for jigs.

bluetorch recently did the and didnt support the ears and it broke one of the tabs. he just used jb weld and so far it has held up good but is damn ugly.

He was bringing due to another member breaking on of the tabs off. One of the first suggestions was to use the MIAD full grip kit. LOL! I have those roll pin punches and you are soooooo right GR, they are totally worth it. The best thing they work for is the roll pin that goes into the bolt catch. I've tried holding it and a punch and a hammer at the same time... yeah right.

E, thanks for taking the time to put the video camera to work while you were adding parts to your rifle. By the way, stop dropping your screws! I ordered the Magpul trigger guard as well. It should be here next week or so. I took the Hogue off of my JP because you can't paint them. According to Lauer, the DuraCoat can actually turn the rubber brittle and ruin the grip of you paint it.

Since I don't own an ArmaLite AR-10, I had no idea that the rear take down pin was held in by the grip. I thought that was kind of interesting. My Fulton Armory Titan is set up like a standard AR where the pin and spring are held in with the butt stock. I wonder if it is better or just different to go in from the bottom.

I just installed this trigger guard last week as well. I got the OD one, as all the accessories on my carbine are as well. I also did the MOE collapsible stock, much better than the original! And the trigger guard really does have more room and looks cool as well.

After seeing how good this trigger guard looked on your AR-10 E I went ahead and put one on my AR-15, it's amazing how much room it adds around the trigger. I also put a Magpul moe grip on it and it feels great really comfortable.

Looking good E, will the Magpul B.A.D lever work on the AR-10? I put one on my AR and really like it!! I wonder if it would fit on the AR-10?

Not to sure on that one Doc, the mag releases are one of the things that differ on the 10 to the 15...

Just a note....there will be more videos coming up in the future...but they will be on the 15
