CHOMP CHOMP CHOMP..........I'll remember that Recoil. In all actuality Recoil is correct in asking your funding, first and foremost. The .308
AR platform is an expensive one, depending what you want it to do. Now Recoil had some issues as well as did I, but that is not to say that there are any real flaws with the ArmaLite AR-10. As with anything, sometimes thing slip out of the factory, but they where quick to remedy the issue, so I have no real complaints with ArmaLite. As for the link that Subvert posted (thanks ) that line up is the top of the line in quality and price.....save the DPMS.
So with all that out of the way, yes,,,,,,,,,,,what do you want to spend.
Do you want a Hunting/target rifle or do want something that would be suited for Zombie destruction and home defense.
From there then figure out what toys do want to put on it...........Yes Recoil here it comes......I have built mine to be a close support weapon (for CRE) as well as a semi-distance shooter, so.
If just a standard weapon is what you are looking for then I would suggest Rock River Arms.
I know a few guys that have them and yet to have any issues with them.
As for the rest, well, if you so choose too, I would be happy to help you build it to what you need.
