i have a friend who has one in .40sw and he loves it. i have shot it a handful of times and its a very nice gun. i dont know of any problems it has given him.

I loved my early 1990's 92FS. Dumbest thing I ever did was sell it. At the time, I thought it was big and heavy. Like I said, dumb. I thinks it a great value for what they sell for.

I'm going against the grain here by saying that I like the looks of it. As long as it has the internals of the 92fs, I'm sure it's good to go. I can't see Beretta straying from a proven concept.

I don't have a 92fs, but I'm in the market, well, once I get a job. In my opinion, the 92fs is the most forgiving pistol I have ever fired.

I dont know about the new ones but,
I traded for this Brigadier Elite .40 cal. a couple of months ago and I love it! It shoots really well, I like the weight and feel of the gun. very stable.
This seems like a very tuff, rugged and well built gun. And the open slide look has really grown on me.

Agreed, Recoil. Beretta just makes a superior, well-balanced platform, one of the best for a 9mm. I've dusted mine off and reaquainted myself with it at the range. Given the performance and ease of maintenance, I'll have to give it a vote. I kept mine out of sentiment, but now I have to say, rash initial judgement is something I'm not proud of. For small caliber, this one's definitely worth it's weight.

BEAGLES are nice. Have a buddy with several of them. IWI is the manufacturer I believe.

I think shooters of Columbus might sell them.

I would say 600-650. Thats what I have seen them for. I dont think they are manufactured any longer though.

If you are in the market for a 92FS, I know where there is a M9 in OD Green and Black at a local FFL. I've had my eyes on it, but I'm probably going to buy a Kimber Covert II in.45ACP instead.

300? I wonder how much Beretta is making off of that, I also wonder how much the major distributors/wholesalers get them for.

I recently was looking at one of the new Berettas in one of the local shops, not sure if it is the 90 two or not but I didn't like the feel, it seemed a bit more akward and cheap compared the the 92FS.

They may not make much of anything off the M9; however, the parts supply is probably big business. Firing pin; $100. Hammer spring; $100. Barrel; $400. Get the drift? It's like HP and ink jet printers. The printer is $100 with ink. The replace ink is $70. Just enough less to keep you from buying a new printer every time you need ink. Brilliant!
