Interesting new polymer framed Judge. Pretty cool, I'm curious to how well it would perform.

They ' unveiled ' that at the Shot show, and it's weird because they
call it the Public Defender but it clearly has Judge inscribed on the barrel
It's a great concept, sort of fills a niche nicely. I have never shot one.
I would use that as an automobile, in the glove compartment, gun
with little hesitation provided I had gave it a proper workout prior.

Those are cool looking. I have shot the judge. I have shot both rounds that it shoots also. My brother has had one for a few years now and likes it.

I generally don't like Taurus with this exception. This is absolutely the best snake gun out there. If you do allot of hiking or hunting in snake country, this loaded with .410 shotshells will destroy any snake very effectively

Friend of mine carries one the standard judges in the woods. Loads every other chamber .410 shot shells and 45 colt. He's ready for anything.

My neighbor has a Judge. It's a hand cannon, but shoots comfortably and yeah, it's a great snake gun concept.

My uncle got one of the original ones, and he loads his up with the Federal Premium 410 defense ammo, his are the 000 buckshot. It could be a hell of a CQ defense pistol.

I'm also digging that Raging Judge Magnum on page 12.

Though Taurus has never been as popular as S&W or Beretta they do(Did) make good quality pistols backed by a lifetime warranty.........Some of you may know that they got started in Brazil using S&W's old tooling and equipment sold to them(Then moved to Miami and built a new facility)......And when buying a Taurus model 82, 83, 85 etc was like buying a S&W model 10, 15, 38 etc that was Pre-Lock/Trigger bar.

I've owned several Taurus pistols including the PT-99 clone of the Beretta, and been pleased with the quality in the past(Can't speak for them today)......Still own a few of their revolvers.

Point of correction:

Taurus and S&W were owned by the same parent company. There was a pass through of some tech. Beretta had a factory in San Paulo to make pistols for the Brazilian army. They sold the whole factory including drawings and tooling to Taurus. It was Beretta, not S&W, that got them started in the auto-loader business. They opened an affiliate company in Miami named Taurus USA. They did not move the company to Miami. The parent company, Forjas Taurus, is still in Brazil. Taurus suffered major quality control issues and strived to improve them through the US affiliate company. It is debatable whether that has fully been recognized in their auto-loader market offerings; however, their revolvers are held with high regard.

Just wanted to clear up some history.
