it depends on what you want done. 1 color,2 colors,digi camo etc... it will all cost different amounts. you can do it yourself though and they sell kits for relatively cheap if you already have a compressor. i wanna say a digi camo job with like 3 or 4 colors is like 300-400$ if you wanna get your gun duracoated id wait until you have it set up just how you want it and get everything done so it all matches.

yeah it takes alot of time to do a digi patteren check out this thread and check out foxtrots digi's hes good and he's the boss man around here

and like i said you can get a kit and do your own duracoat job. dont expect results like fox's at all but its practice and you can try it again if you dont like it.

It really depends on what you want done to get a price. If you tell me that you want something specific then I can give you the actual price. The product isn't cheap either.

I'm working on a Glock right now (my own) that I am doing in Desert Storm Digital... my own creation. I'm also painting a Marlin Lever Action in Tiger Stripe for a customer and charged $350. I also recently painted a Ruger 10/22 for a customer in one color and only charged him $100.

The whole job comes down to not just color and scheme but how much work is involved as well. For ARs I completely strip the rifles down and sandblast the old finish off and go from there.

Here, check this out... this is a complete disassembly of an AR15 and a single color Duracoat job. I'm not counting the graphics or the wording either.

Probably around $350 for that. I cut all of my camouflage patterns by hand )with the exception of digital, I get Fox to cut those for me). I guess it would depend on how far you would want the detail to go.

Here is a 3 color desert that I did for another member of this site. I charged $300 because the takedown wasn't as bad as as an AR.

ive never met ip and i can tell you id feel 100% comfortable sending him my gun that ive spent about 2,000 on for him to duracoat. if you were serious you have no need for worry if your getting work done by ip. when i was new here like you he offered to send me his ncstar scope to see if i liked it before i bought it. without knowing me at all he was gonna send me his scope without seeing anything until i said i liked it. i decided to go a different route before he sent it though. oh and not only would you be sending your gun but you would be sending money too. which i would also be just fine with doing when it comes to ip and a few other guys on here.

Sold that a while back. But Cohen is right, I was going to send it to him to try out. If you feel uncomfortable about send you gun I would understand. I am a professional as well as hold a valid business license and FFL. However, shipping to me does require some extra steps when it comes to sending ARs anyway. For one it can be on the Banned Assault Rifles list and another it can not fall under the definition of an Assault Rifle in California Law. For you Stag all you would have to do is install a device that would keep the mag from being "detachable" - yes our laws are stupid but there are ways around them, legally. One thing I can say about California AR owners is that they have become quite savvy when it comes to finding loopholes in gun laws.

how does this stuff hold up to scratching and wear like on the handle or somthing that always gets rubed like the triger or cleaning solutions like......gun scrub do u have to put like a clear over it like painting a car sorry these are probaly silly ?'s but i had never heard of this befor untill i joined this fourm

i got an idea when u got to padre island u can bring what u need to do my gun and u can do it at my house lol so it would save the hassle of shipping to cali
