This is 2 years old, never fired . Want to take a stab at what its worth? I have the opportunity to buy it this morning. I need to know what you think pretty quick

Looks like a Springfield GI SS - 1911A1 Model PW9151LP........And it looks to be all there and correct......On this model the 'WW' the serial begins with denotes the pistol was completely built by Imbel in Brazil.......I believe almost all of Springfield's 1911's are built on Imbel Slides and Frames, and the letter codes denote whether it was 80% complete and finished building at Springfield, Or was completely built in Brazil and shipped here as a finished product.......Other codes like N means all Brazilian built, Or NM meaning build completed at Springfield or went thru their custom shop.

Prices on new ones are running anywhere around $650 - $750 if you look on GB.........If it were me and I really wanted it I still wouldn't go more than around $500 tops on a used one......Prices on these guns has gotten ridiculous lately - I only paid $550 a couple years ago for my fully loaded one with Night Sights(PX9109L), And it was new.

Roll the gun over when your doing your deal and scowl a bit at where it says : Imbel-Brazil........Tell the guy you thought it was made in USA(LOL)......Then ask what's the least he'll take for it(LOL).

Well, son of a b****, they do make stainless GI's now. I was thinking that looked stainless w/ polished flats but didn't remember that they offered them so I assumed it had to be plated. Last reply axed.

Well someone polished that one up and it almost looks like Nickle........

Mission Accomplished ! and I talked him down to $ 350 ,

This is a nice piece, Not a scratch, 2 mags , 2 sets of grips, it came with these wood grips with the springfield armory logo on it. he put the U S GI grips on it cause he liked it better.

and a holster. I must be living right

WHAT A DEAL!!!!........The cheapest 'New' Price I saw above is $550, but that link is broken.

Congrats on the $350...............The cheapest I've ever seen offered on a used/private deal for a similar Springfield was $400 quite a while back - And it was a Parkerized one.

Great buy GD. I had a chance to buy a Glock 27 on Wed. The guy was asking $350 for the gun in the box with two mags.
Those are .40cal. by the way. He also had a tactical shotgun as well. It was a Rem. 870 magnum. I knew as soon as I walked away that I should have bought the Glock. I could have made $50 on it in just a few days, I am sure.

Yeah, its been so long since i could buy anything, just got the tax refund back, sat down in front of the computer and there it was ripe for the picking, I probably should not have bought it, but the deal was just too good ,

Besides, what the wife dont know, wont make her mad at me ,,,,, right ,,,,, ? LOL
