I have used Trijicon's Night Sights on my other pieces and really enjoy them, so decided my next purchase will be to put them on my Colt Defender Series 90 (long overdue actually). The odd thing is I've searched and searched but can't find any to fit this model. I found some PTs, but unless I had a bad set the last PTs I looked at seemed dimmer than the Trijicon.

Anyone know a place or have a link to a set of Trijicon Night Sights for a Series 90 Colt Defender 3"? I appreciate it.

I really like the meprolite night sights. they are about 126 on the kimber web sight. You could probably find them a bit cheaper looking on the internet.

My meprolites are OK at night but suck in the daytime. Their not easy to see because their is no white.

I'm not even going to attempt doing a google search for them, as you are far more computer saavy than I and probably have a machine setup to do automated searches 24/7 until you find them. However, I go over to another site every now and then and I'll do a post over there and ask. If I get any pertinent info., I'll pass back to you. Best of luck on them...I have them on my Glock 22 and they are the cat's ass. Tritium is a wonderful thing.

I'm not a PT or Mep fan... Trijicon just seems the best all around sight. The white rubber around the tritium doubles as a day time sight and shock absorber. I've had them take quite a fall before and show no noticeable damage.

Ebay => 0 results found for trijicon night sight colt defender.

Recoil - Heh, no not quite that sophisticated but I did do some searches. Each time I find something it has in small print "Not compatible with Series 90". For some reason everything I find is series 80, earlier, or for full size only (commander/officer).

Tril I called trijicon and no sights for the defender. They sugested calling novak. I called novak but I guess colt used rour different sight cuts on their front sight. they have some tritium with the white for some models but you need to call them to see if you have the correct cut for your defender. Thanks doc. I suppose that is why I'm not finding any...

Seems odd though, a company like Trijicon decided to not make sights for a Colt 1911 - its not like that is an off brand or rare frame style. Oh well, I'll check out Novak.

trijicon makes sights for 1911's. the problem lies with colt. they used four different styles of cuts in the frame these last couple of years. it wasn't worth trijicons effort to make a sight for each cut in the frame. novak only makes sights for 1 or 2 of the cuts.

I found these. Not Trijicon but some times you have to settle for something else. It at least gives you another option. You may wait it out till someone else releases some. Maybe write them and see if they can make any. The worst that can happen is tell you no.
