When it comes to the world ofAK's it's really a "Crap Shoot".......I would just Carefully read all the product reviews shown for the item as it relates to the type/variant you have and see if most were able to just slap it on, There's always it seems a bit of tinkering to get them to fit right/tight.
I recently acquired a "Rare"windage adjustable rear sight(Yes!!! - Turn the small knob to adjust windage!!!), Allows you to keep the front post centered for a better sight picture and not have it looking odd drifted all the way left/right - But installing it wasn't for the faint of heart, With a Dremel I had to open up the "Ears" a few thousandths and mill a recess across the back of the trunnion block to accommodate it for full function.
IT WAS WORTH IT!!!.....The job turned out totallyprofessional and you can't tell anything was done, The sight looks almost exactly like the non-adjustable factory original with the added bonus of being able to make quick windage adjustments.....As you may be able to tell I'm very proud of how it turned out.
