Anyone have any experience with these non metallic receivers? Pros or cons ? I'm thinking about a purchase. Thank guys, from a newbie.

hey hows it going bro i got one i have about 1500 rounds give or take about 100 or so i sorta lost count a couple of times but no problems with mine at all i like it and you dont have to worry about messing up the finish on it because there is no finish to mess up but i do still wanna buy a metal one have you bought the rifle yet?

No, no purchase yet. Thanks for the post as I will rely on guys like you to help me decide if I want a carbon 15. I like the idea of light weight, but wonder about target acquisition after each round is fired.

if the price is the same and your not gonna be carrying it around alot id go for the standard ar-15. thats just my opinion though ive never handled or shot a carbon 15.

small block i got mine for 699 with a Bushnell red dot at academy i have seen them online for 999.99 same brand and model so if you have an academy i would talk to those guys
