When I swapped out my fire control with the
JP Enterprises kit (minus the speed hammer), I took a 7.5
lb pull down to 3.5 lbs. The results were fantastic. The kit was stupid simple and my off hand groups, especially during movement exercises, have shrunk. The trigger feels more like a bolt action trigger now. There is virtually no creep which is what I told my smith to go for. The break is clean and crisp, and it resets nicely. I considered a Timney drop in, but at the time the price difference between Timney and
JP was about $75. InstructorPyro talked me into the
JP and I took his advice. The results were better than expected. I thought about sending my fire control group to Bill, but I've heard good and bad about it. If it's off, there's no way to 'fix it back'. I don't know anything about Chip's triggers.
