Well, here she is in all of her glory! The Aimpoint CompM2/M68 with GG&G QD Cantalever Mount was the icing on the cake. I can't wait to sight this thing in.

Since I'm in San Diego for another 3 weeks I have to go to a range down here. Fortunately I am a member of Iron Sights in Oceanside which is an lovely indoor range. Unfortunately their rules prohibit wonderful things like drawing from the holster (or even carrying a pistol in a holster). So here we get to simply shoot, and not a whole lot more. I'll be sigting in from the half offhand, half leaning on a weird height bench for shooting.

Side note: The condo I am staying in is actually less than 100 yards from Camp Pendleton. Does anyone want or need anything from this Marine Base? CJ, do you need anything? Room, coins? Etc... Let me know guys.

With a side order of a M2 Browning if it's not too much of a hassle.

Thanks Pyro your the best! I'll be by in a couple weeks to pick them up. Should really get some looks with a Mk 19 mounted to the bike.

IP, I forgot to post after we chatted. You're going to love that CompM2. Dump that plastic Magpul BUPS. I'll check on what we discussed tomorrow. Let me know how you like the taller mount with lower 1/3 co-witness. My GG&G cantilever puts it dead nuts on co-witness. Can't wait to hear your report from the range!

I put it on a scale and it weighs in right at 7 pounds with the sight. I've also been informed that my GG&G BUIS is on its way as well. I'm dumping the plastic. I've got to say that I'm not impressed with the MagPul sights.

I haven't even been able to sight it in yet so I don't have an opinion on the front sight just yet. I might go today and put some rounds down range just to make sure it all works and get the Aimpoint sighted in. I'm not going to try and sight in the back ups because I'm waiting for the GG&G rear sight to get here.
