This is my Range Report for the rifle pictured on my profile.
First I zeroed her at 25m using M855 62gr. Groups were tight and I had very positive clicks on the EO Tech to assist in adjustments. I co-witnessed the BUIS's to the EO Tech and had to make no further adjustments when I confirmed. Since I built this gun as a short range tactical gun I ran some drills as Advertised by Mr. Kyle Lamb on youtube.
No Malfunctions after I ran 300+ rds. Next it was time for the suppressor. I wanted to see if there was going to be any change to my zero and I was surprised there was none at all.
I heated her up with the same drills and once again no malfunctions, It was very enjoyable to shoot without hearing protection and I didn't have any ringing in the ears(no more than usual thanks to 5 deployments) and I have to say that the extea weight was very much bearable.
Next I tried some Sub-Sonic 100gr 5.56mm from extreme shock. The ammo is for short range engagements (100m or less) and has to be used in conjunction with the suppressor and is recommended for barrel length's of 16in or shorter.
It sounded like a air rifle and the sound of the round hitting steel at 50m was louder than the report of the gun. The ammo functioned flawlessly but failed to lock the bolt to the rear on the last round.
