Jinx....
I build holsters for a hobby and carry a gun for a living. The holster you have is low-end, but not poorly designed. A lot of the problem people have with OWB (outside the waist band) holsters, and pancake style specifically, is that they do not wear it with a suitable belt. Most of the time, I wear either a 1.5 inch wide double layer thickness belt (very stiff) or a 1.75 inch wide nylon "instructors belt" from Wilderness tactical or 5.11. Both are stiff and provide the support to hold the weight of the gun and pull the holster into position so that it does not shift or print.
Before I would drop $100 on a new holster, I would seriously recommend you spend $35 on a good belt, if you don't already have one.
I build my pancake holsters with a rear "wing" that helps pull the butt of the gun in a little more, and they are designed to ride high on the belt. I also build my holsters with a "body sheild/sweat guard" because I sell most of them in Az., where a gun close to the body is a rusty gun in the making.
As far as IWB hosters go, I have used them on and off for about 20 years and I find that they work better with some guns than others. My most often used IWB holster is for a 1911. It is slim enough not to cause problems with my pant sizes and it does not dig in and cause me to be uncomfortable. If you try and stuff a thick pistol like a Glock (specifically the 20/21 series) into a IWB holster, expect to buy pants about one size larger and expect for it to become uncomfortable after a few hours of wear. (just my experience.... I am not as thin and tollerant as I once was either.)
I have pretty much settled on the OWB holster for me, because that is where I have trained for the majority of my life to reach for my gun. I had an experience where I was wearing my gun IWB and needed it (or thought I was about to need it) and I ended up reaching for my belt line, where my gun should have been, and it wasn't there.... I ended up "patting my self down" for my gun, when I realized it was further behind my hip and inside the pants.... thank God I didn't need it as fast as I might have otherwise.
Anyway... off my soap box. Here are some pictures of my holsters. I conceal them with a t-shirt (untucked) routinely.

Like most folks out there that are serious about carring a gun as a matter of routine, you will findthere is no "one magic holster". Most folks have a milk crate full of holsters for different reasons/uses and most folks will eventually settle on one or two designs that work for them... Most folks also spend alot of money in 'trial and error' testing of holsters... I am no different. The only advantage I enjoy is that if I see something that peaks my curiosity, I can try and make one for myself and tweek the design to fit what I want.
Good luck with your search. Let the rest of use know if you find one that works for you, so we can benifit from your experience to.
