I’ve been wearing the crossbreed with an XD .40 S&W sub compact in the the 6 oclock position now for almost 2 months now and I don’t have a bad thing to say about it. It is my first holster though that I’ve actually carried with so I cant compare it to other similar holsters. I purchased it with advice from members on this forum and many good reviews.The holster is very light with it being made of just a piece of leather, kydex and a little bit of steel hardware I haven’t actually weighed it though. When I got the holster the leather was a flat piece and a little stiff at first. I just worked it with my hands a bit and after about 2 days of wearing it the leather had formed to my body and makes for a very comfortable fit. I went for the regular cowhide instead of the horse hide because I don’t think I will need it being I tuck a shirt between my body and the leather. The clips hold the holster in place with a belt very well even though one isn’t absolutely needed. The clips allow for you to easily put the holster on and even easier to take it off. It’s also easy to move your holster without taking it off by pulling on both clips and sliding the holster. Some people did tell me that I wont like carrying an XD inside the waste band because its to bulky and heavy. I’ll say they couldn’t be more wrong after the first week of wearing it I started to forget it was there and would have to double check sometimes to make sure it was still there. I will say the one time it is uncomfortable and hard to access is when I’m driving. My seats are pretty stiff and tight on your body to keep you there and it wasn’t to bad at all when riding in friends cars with softer seats. I don’t think different having soft seats will help you access it any easier while buckled into a car. The holster conceals very well under lose clothing and I’m not talking super baggy and way to big I almost always wear golf shirts lately and a large covers the gun great without a print. I can even bend over without the holster showing 90% of the time. The Crossbreed also allows for you to tuck your shirt in without it showing to much obviously depending on your shirt. I never tuck my shirt in and I have not tried this yet at all and cant comment on it personally but have seen videos showing it. Some people also told me that the draw with an IWB holster is to hard and not practical. Well with a little practice it isn’t hard and all and with a lot of practice I’m sure it will come naturally. I haven’t had a chance to practice drawing from it and shooting yet and will edit this review when I do. There is no retention screw or anything like that but you can use a blow dryer to tighten it up or make it a little loose however you like it. If you don’t think your up to doing it yourself send it back to Crossbreed and they will do it for you or if you know If you like it tight or loose tell them ahead of time. I cant remember exactly what I paid but it was like 80$ with shipping and handling. Overall I rate the Crossbreed SuperTuck Deluxe a 9 out of 10 I would give it a 10 but have nothing to compare it to so I don’t think I can say its perfect. If your having doubts about this holster, don’t and go for it you wont regret it.

its my first holster ive actually carried with besides when just shooting in the woods or something and i love it. nothing really negative about it
