(i posted this in the glock forum on 1911.com but nobody seems to go over there so i posted it here as well.)

are there any accessories that would be of any use? i have to get the mag release extension cause i hate how short the standard one is.....i also saw online different weight slide springs; whats the difference between say a heavier spring and a lighter one.....oh one more note, i was also planning on getting the extended slide release.

i pick up my new 'toy' in 10 days, actually 9 days 20 hrs 15min and some odd seconds.

The mag release extension it top choice in my opinion. For some a trigger kit to lighten the trigger pull is good. There is also a small insert that you can put in the butt of the grip to protect if from drops. http://www.topglock.com/ is a site that has lots of Glock gear the same site is also http://www.glockworld.com/

Enjoy your new Glock, glad I don't live in CA, walked out of the gun shop the same day. If you have a handgun permit or a carry permit you can leave with the gun if you pass the FBI crap.

i purchased the G19 i thought it was priced right (for California) @ $554.99

my soon to be wife got it for me as a wedding present....a little early i might add.

i think I'll keep her! the glock.....just kidding

Extended slide release, extended mag release, trijicon night sites, Lasermax laser, Ghost Inc. 3.5 lb trigger pull mechanism (factory comes set at 5lbs) are all good modifications. You'll love it, it's a workhorse, will go bam everytime and is tougher than hog nose.
