Tell us a little about yourself, and by the way, I'm the only one that gets to call Trilarian a communist. Well, actually, he isn't a communist at all. He's probably no more a communist than you are a socialist, so we'll leave it at that. Anyway, enough confusion for one new thread.

I'm with you there Room, I've got no idea what's going on.

I've got some Tony Cachere's Creole seasonings in the pantry, goes great mixed with ground beef and hamburgers and on chicken for a little added kick. I also have a hot sauce called "Nando's Peri-Peri" sauce, it's from South Africa, I ate at one of their restaurants in Qatar and it was by far the best whole chicken I've ever eaten. What's your favorite seasoning/rub/marinade?

Being a Midwest raised meat eater, I prefer a combo of seasoning and marinade. I spent many years in TN and learned to hate rub. I like my BBQ messy on the outside, clean on the inside.

And, as far as this thread goes, I'm content to hijack it, water board it, and torture it until it finally dies a painful death.

We had a place in KY called Old South, it was no bigger then my living room with an even smaller kitchen off to the side and had some of the best BBQ I've ever had. Unfortunantly shortly before I came back from Iraq it had caught on fire and was later demolished. I like the idea of cooking tips for this thread, I was just trying to find something completely off topic hoping that it would take off and get the thread hijacked.

On a lighter note on HD Theater right now is a show called "Weaponizer" and they are turning an Ice Cream Truck and a Meat Truck into "War Wagons". Should be interesting.

I've been loosely watching a show on French Foreign Legion basic. Boring. Now I'm watching a show about Army Sapper school at Ft. Leonard Wood. Much more interesting.

Back to food. I had sliders with the guys at a local joint earlier tonight, but now I'm hungry again. All this talk about BBQ has me jonesing.

To add another topic to the mix, I can't wait to go to the range next week and throw some SMK 175's at silhouettes. My Kimber should show up from Birdsong tomorrow as well.

I'm ready to go home. This 30-day cycle has been without fun.

I've got to get up early this morning, so I should just go get some rack time, but for some reason I'm just not into the sleep thing tonight.

My 0400 girl (wife) is 70 miles away at home, so that isn't helping either. LOL

So, I guess this is now the thread about nothing and anything...
