i've been thinking about getting an old model super redhawk .44mag. i will be shooting 330 grain hammerheads out of the baby and will be using it for a sidearm for within 30 yards. do you think this is a good choice or should i get a larger caliber?
Larger caliber for what? The .44 magnum can be loadedpretty darn hotfora super redhawk and will take out man or beast in quick order.
330gr bullets - I want to be standing back when you pull that trigger. I have a regular stainless steel Redhawk with 7.5" bbl and that thing's a cannon. If you can't hit them with it, you can throw it at them.
