Ok, I'm back again and I bought the extended slide release piece for my glock 21. Now I'm having trouble removing the slide off my glock. I pull back on the slide, pull down the side buttons and it doesn't slide off.

Not to say your a tard or anything but you did have the magazine out with nothing in the chamber then pulled the trigger before you pull back and push the slide release buttons on the side right? I don't really see how the extended slide release could cause that. Mine oe one doesn't even touch the slide unless it's back with a empty mag.

I have had my recoil spring pop out of it's slot sligthly and cause the slide not to release,it might be worth checking.

I would say you forgot about DRY firing the gun first before you attempt the slide removal. Rerack the slide, assure the chamber is empty then pull the trigger.

Yeah I figured it out. I was pulling the slide all the way back instead of a quarter of the way back.
