I am wondering if you can make rpk & pkm legal by doing what was done with the m1919. Like semiautomatic Thank you

Yes it's possible I think.....It has to be built on an American Receiver and include a certain amount of American parts to be compliant - But I'm no AK builder or expert.

I know where 2 kitsare for sale right now along with aDCIor Ohio Ord.receivers.

There are several semi-automatic RPK's on the market for reasonable amounts. They are not much different from a regular AK. Arsenal makes Bulgarian based RPK's here in the States even.

PKM is another story. It's an actual beltfed, completely different platform. Not sure there...
