I figured I would get this thread rolling. I got this buck just outside of Grand Junction. I don't recommend shooting one with a 300 ultra mag though. I could fit my fist in the entrance and exit wound!

Holy phuking scheisse Batman! That thing is an alien! I'm headed out for elk in CO next year, but I think a muley may be in my future. I watched a show on hunting mule deer in Canada, but they didn't show anything that big. Damn!

Holy cow, I mean buck. I would have shat myself if I had something that large in my sights. Not sure how to score a Muley but that thing would go way over 200 inches if measured the same way they do whitetails. Tell the shooter congrats.

. I don't know what I would do if I had one in my sights. I would probably be to busy crapping myself to shoot it! There are some monsters still lurking out there.

CO is a great place for elk. We have the largest population, plenty to pick from.

There is a guy who hunts whitetail on my lease and he shoots a .338. I always poke fun at him. His deer never go far.

I would bet that deer goes to the top of the heap if he gets it in to the B&C record book for this year. He may even be able to get the award for largest deer taken in 2009. I have never seen one that wide up here. Those bucks have some crazy genes down in the Southwest Rockies.
