The one that gets me is future weapons. There is no "con" to the show, everything is hyped like its the best thing since sliced bread, the wheel, and Jesus!
Example: LWRC IAR which is basically an M-16 converted to fire from the open bolt (a very simple modification) is debuted as this awesome innovation and invention by the company, first of it's kind, ingenious invention, ahead of its time, etc. Far superior to the M-249 because the M-249 is limited as light machine gun because it uses these "belt" thingies, and if you have 30 round mags instead of a belt then it can't fall apart, so it makes a better light machine gun....

I think they must get paid off by companies.. why else would they NOT say "Of course, x can y and z can y but overall, we like the design". Instead, its
"This thing can single handily kill an army of ninjas led by Chuck Norris with a single round from 1200 yards in a 30 mile per hour crosswind while fired by a 7yo girl!"And the "Metal Storm".
Ya, its rate of fire is what they listed if they don't factor having to ever reload. Hell, by their standards I'm going to say the M-16 has a rate of fire of a million rounds a minute, if the bolt magically chambers the next round instantly and you never have to swap a mag. Ever seen a reloading sequence for the metal storm? Your actual rate of fire ends up SLOWER than a damn M-203 fired by a physically challenged schoolgirl!
Future weapons:
"One million omgwtf rounds a minute, this thing can single handily can wipe out an army of ten thousand mummified zombie ninjas armed with RPGs and led by Chuck Norris himself in 1/10th of a second from 2400 yards away while whirling around in a tornado!"Man, I swear... when it comes to TV and firearms, its either blatantly incorrect anti

or it's overhyped, best thing since sliced bread

And that ladies and gentlemen, concludes my rant. I didn't see the show in question, I just felt like ranting!
