I have a relative, who shall go nameless. Nice lady, but not the sharpest knife in the drawer. She was part of a church group who visited prisoners in the state prison just up the highway from here. During one of the visits, she agreed, at a prisoner's request, to go to the local post office and retrieve a package for him from a post office box. The prisoner told her it was cookies, cakes and such from his mother. She did it. I don't know exactly how she got the package into the prison. I think a guard payoff was involved. Anyway, this became a regular thing. Every time she visited, she delivered a new package. Until the day she went to the post office to pick up the next package and was arrested by federal agents. Turns out the packages contained bags of a white powder. And I'm not talking about flour here. Now just how dumb can you get? Did I mention she voted for Obama?
