Anybody ever use one? are they worth the money? It will be for stock remmington 700 ADL in 30-06 for hunting. I am looking at 3-9x40 mildot in amber. This will only be used for deer and elk hunting shooting up to 350 yards. List price $815 but was offered it for $725. Any opinions?

Don't have one, cannot afford one yet. But heard a lot of good reviews on Trijicon accupoint scope, if that is what you meant.

Hey Doc,

From what I've heard, they're nice, but I've never used one. Trijicon makes good stuff if that's what you're worried about.

DTKWW, you are correct, my mistake. It is the Accupoint. I am thinking pretty hard about it but haven't ever met anyone with one. Was wondering if anyone has actually used one? I may have to be the first and let everyone know.

Ok.... I bought it. I was given a great deal I couldn't pass up. I got the scope for $645 with priority shipping included.

It appears that you did well on the price. Like IP, I want to hear how much you like it. I have no doubt it'll be an asset to your .30-06 and I've heard Trijicon's glass is European...some of the finest, but don't try to find that info anywhere...it's proprietary.

Should be here tomorrow.... Can't wait!! This scope is brand new from a Trijicon authorized dealer on Ebay so I am very happy I got it for $200 less than ordering it from Trijicon. I still get same warranty and the normal included accessories.

LaRue make some very nice and $$$$ quick detach scope mount. But not sure what they have for the Remy 700 tho. I agree, we need pictures.

I don't know about a quick detach type mount for the 700. I've personally always liked my rings on solid. No possible chance of scope movement. Plus I'm never thinking, 'man, I hope I put that back on exactly where I zeroed it.' Burris is making some pretty nice mounts these days as well. However, that is only my opinion. I'm sure there are some very nice mounts out there for doing exactly what you want them to do.

The scope looks nice. I've been considering one of those myself. I really can't wait to read a review about it.

Doc, I don't know of any ''see through'' quick detach mounts, but LaRue Tactical does make a set of scope rings that are quick detach as their other mounts...

but they are 30mm, but you can buy the inserts to reduce them down to 1''

Personally I would recommend one of their QD scope mounts.....the LT-104 would work good for you, and if you mark it right, you could also switch it out to your AR, so you have one scope for two rifles.....I will elaborate, zero on one rifle.....then put it on the other and dial it in....mark the rifle with the settings and there you have it.....either or....just a suggestion..
