There don't seem to be any real retro riflemen here. It seems y'all got them fancy guns with all the bells-and-whistles. Whenever I go to the range, you seem to follow me. You're usually 6 lanes to my left. You all look the same to me. mid 20's to early 30's. Fancy
AR, with too many accessories bolted on to the Octo-rail you just bought. You seem to have some bugs to work out on that rifle. I see you banging it against the concrete table, trying to loose a failure-to-extract. Wow, it doesn't seem safe to whack that rifle like that. I am surprised the range master doesn't call a cease-fire. I see you shooting at the 150 meter steel silhouette. Is the barrel bent? You hit 2 out of 10, and that includes a few breaks to watch you beat your rifle senseless, trying to loose that stubborn casing. I see you looking over at me, with my old SP-1 on a bipod. Here in California, I am sure you have never seen a 30 round mag, and yet I have a stack of them. I see you glance over, tap your buddy (with an equally fancy lemon of an
AR), and point to my black gun. I am pretty sure you have only seen triangular hand guards in movies. If you didn't notice, I fired 360 rounds, and I didn't have any malfunctions. The bipod and scope are the only accessories, and I know you hear the confirmation of me hitting the steel silhouette 30 out of 30. I wanted to ask you if you could help me bolt a cup holder on my rifle, but you left the range after a short time. It seems your rifle needed a little more fine tuning. Oh well, maybe next time we can talk. I'd like to take a look at that bullet-button you have. I've heard of those things.
