The barrel on my 10/22 is a Butler Creek bbl, stainless fluted, obviously. It runs around 200 bucks these days, and while a lot of guys complain about these barrel, I can never figure out why, that rifle will put bullet after bullet damn near in the same hole if you do your part. The end of the barrel has a Volquartzen "stabilization module" I don't know that it does anything as the gun shoots no beter with than it did without....but it looks cool. I am in the middle of another 10/22 build now. we'll see how it turns out.
