Looks like a new sidearm fresh from the box. One tip: you might consider breaking it down to the frame and polishing your feed ramps with a felt-tip Dremel. When I bought my High-Standard, it did the same thing the first day I had it out. When I got it home and apart, I saw the telltale signature of brass hanging the lip of the left feed. A couple gentle passes with a felt cone at low speed solved the malfunction. Room mentioned the rounds, that's also a big factor. I started out with Fiocchi target loads and had five duds out of a box of 50. Mitch tried to sell me Remington loads to start, but I didn't listen. He still laughs at me when I bring my .45 in. Weird thing about it, my Beretta eats Fiocchi rounds like candy and hasn't lost a single one.
