Well I don't have it yet but I get it tomorrow.I couldn't contain my excitement had to blurt it out. I have wanted one since I was old enough to shoot one.

Well I got it, sorta. I had it on a layaway at a gun shop. When they went to find it, it wasn't anywhere to be seen. The ATF had recently been there and turned it inside and out. After 2 hours of waiting he couldn't find it so he tried giving me a bunch crap pistols. I put a new gun on layaway so that's what I wanted. Finally he came to me and said since he couldn't find it he would make it up to me. He had a 50th anniversary Blackhawk that had been in the store room for 4 years. So he gave it to me. I feel like I got a hell of a deal! I'll post some pic's.

Your ATF comment made me remember something. My local shop which is owner operated and not very big told me the ATF has become a real pain. They will show up create a mess and take up everyone's time for a very small issue. He had a gun stolen and they showed up for three days.

You are going to like your Blackhawk. What caliber? I have a 5.5 inch blued .45 Colt that I love. It is a great hunting handgun and I pack mine alot when I am in the woods. I have killed a couple of critters with it, to include a javalina a couple of years ago.

I'm excited to get out and try to get me some critters with it. Nice little javalina you got Tac , I wouldn't mind trying my hand at something like that some day.

Spot. Ya the ATF is getting pretty serious, The shop owner said they went through every single gun in his inventory. He has never really been to organized though, actually his place is a disaster. He calls it an organized mess

. Not matter I got a pretty good deal out of his mess! Also I forgot to ad it has Adjustable rear sights, and it's a flat top like the original 50 s blackhawk.
