Well I found my Mono wood grip for my Blackhawk, I got them in the Goncalo Alves wood. It has a great feel in my large hands and it looks great to me...let me know what you think?

They are both fun as hell to shoot. The Stoeger is a bit much with both triggers going off at the same time, but hey if you got it you have to try it. I don't think I've had as much fun shooting the blackhawk as I've had shooting any other pistol. My wife didn't like either, then again she's about 5 foot tall and my 45 pushes her around a little.

They do look good. I have stock grips on my S.Blackhawk, but I have a set similar to those on my Python. Of course I kept the original grips for the Python as well, as you should do. Is that a fairly new gun? My Ruger was made in the mid 70s, like my Python.

The Blackhawk was made in Nov '08 and the Stoeger was made in '09 sometime. Dad usually keeps the antiques at his place. I don't like keeping too many laying around with a 2 year old running around.
