awhile back i sold my xd .45 to buy an xd .40 sub-compact so it would be easier to conceal when i get my permit. i always thought the compact mag was just a hair to short for a good full grip. so i finally bought a grip extension that replaces the floor plate of the mags and WOW!!!!

this extension made a world of difference for how easy and fast it was to get a good grip on the gun and how comfortable it made the gun feel. it was like shooting a whole new gun with a better grip and better control. i was very please with how it felt at the range yesterday and didnt even use the 12rd mag with full grip extension once. if you have a xd sub-compact or bear paws (ip) and want a little more room to get your fingers on your gun you will not be disapointed with one of these.
