Who makes the ss panels that mount under your grips on a 1911? I run Crimson trace laser grips on my 1911A1 Springfeild and would like the extra protection of the plates in theevent of a case falire. I saw them somewhere and can't remember where.I guess I could fab some but by the time I get material and take the time to make them i could be doing something else.

I know i have seen them but WHERE!!Looks likeI get to fab some .If I get really crazy I'll make a bunch. Should cost me about $10.00 to make bet they will sell like hotcakes for $5.00 a pair if I pay shipping L.O.L. Thanks for your efforts.
