Awesome Gdawg! I've always had a soft spot in my heart for Mini 14's! They are an awesome and proven platform. Give us a full report when you get to take it to the range. Thanks for the pics. I sure do want one! Did it come with that furniture? Or did you modify it on the spot while at the shop?

Thanks , No it came with everything, and he is mailing me the bi-pod that goes with it, I could not resist and shot 3 rounds out behind the house, Nice! The scope is not great but is ok until I can get something better when I have the $

I traded my Rem 30 o 06 and a ruger 9mm for it , I feel pretty good about no money out of pocket under the circumstances

How does that magazine feed? I can tell you that most of the aftermarket mags for the Mini-Thirty don't work very well with hollowpoint ammo. My Mini loves the Norinco 7.62 stuff!

Dawg, love those. My brother had one a while back and I loved shooting it, don't know why I never bought one. He sold it, don't know why he did that either, think he bought a Python with the cash. Another friend wanted a rifle and I took him out and he ended up buying one of those after I showed him one of those. I talked him into the SS one. That too was a while ago. The last time I saw him, he still had it.
