And as for the rope harness, I said it was an old pic. I haven't used one in a few decades, but I still remember how, just in case. I like to 'amaze' my buddies by showing them some rope tricks, like making a swiss seat out of a piece of rope. Back then, I would have given my left nut for a figure-8. Now days, it is standard equipment.
