Shawn,
The two you have picked out are around $150. This EOTech is $379:
EOTech 510The difference of $229 is small when compared to the HUGE difference you get in quality.
How long did it take you to save $150? What do you need to shoot with a red dot sooooo badly that you couldn't put off the purchase while you save the extra $229? Otherwise, you are going to pay $150 for crap and then have to save an additional $379 to buy what you really wanted in the first place. You will have spent $529 in total, which could have got you into an Aimpoint or high end EO.
Patience. Use the irons until you can squirrel away an additional $229. You will be much happier and prouder of your purchase. I'm not going to go into all the nuances between junk knockoffs and the real McCoy, but I will say this: You probably have at least $1000 in your
AR, so why top it with $150 Airsoft glass?
